A ‘Day at the Races’ has been organised to raise funds for the development of a new state of the art community centre and playing fields complex.

The Event will take place on Sunday 22nd June 2008 at Down Royal Racecourse.

Tickets cost £125 each or tables of 10 cost £1250. This entitles you to:

Return transport from Moortown to Down Royal (optional)

Admission to the Racecourse and private marquee facility.

Complimentary Race card.

Four course meal which will be served at 1pm.

Tote and Bar facilities and a guest tipster.

Race Day Entertainment which begins at approximately 2pm- Before each of the six featured races, a draw will take place which will allocate one of our patrons to each participating horse. Great prizes will be presented to those who are represented by the 1st, 2nd and 3rd placed horses after each race.

After the last race (at 6pm) a short Auction will take place.

Well known comedian Big ‘O’ will round off the day when he takes to the stage at 6.30pm.

This is not only a great opportunity to contribute towards the provision of a much needed facility within our community, but it is also guaranteed to be a great day out.
